Rohit Sharma world-record

Indian batsman, Rohit Sharma, known for his unruffled elegance went onto break the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs set by Virender Sehwag by making 264 in the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. 

The previous record was set by Sehwag, who had accrued 219 against the West Indies in Indore in 2011.



Rohit also became the first cricketer to register two double hundreds in ODI cricket.
